Daddy's Little Helper Bag Craft
This is a great way to show kids that doing something nice for someone is a great gift. This gift is intended for use on father's day.
Materials
- Paper lunch bag
- Stickers, Stamps, Markers
- Hole punch
- Raffia or Ribbon
- Small papers
- Pen
Method
- Decorate the bag in any way that dad will love.
- Use the pen to write down child-size chores that could help dad out (e.g. feed the dog, sweep the floor, shine dad's shoes, bring dad his slippers, give dad 15 minutes of quiet time...). Save one note to write the following on: When you've had a long day... a little help can go a long way. dad, when you need some help pick a chore from the bag and I will do it to help you out. Love, _________
- Fill the bag with chore notes.
- Fold down the top of the bag. Use a hole punch to make a hole in the bag and the note for dad then tie them together with the raffia.
